   Cattle End Lower While Hogs Hold Higher through Tuesday's Mundane Trade

   No cash cattle trade developed throughout the day and asking prices have not
yet been established.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

   The livestock complex ended the day mixed with the cattle contracts closing
lower all while the lean hog contracts were able to end the day higher still
thanks to trader support. Still no cash cattle trade has developed. December
corn is down 6 1/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $2.30. The
Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 185.14 points and NASDAQ is up 122.19
points.
